Hi, is this _______________?.
Never use words like always or definitely. Only use might or could or in my experience.
Calling Ticket Eligible Clients
Hi, is this [person’s name]? This is [your name] from Disabled Workers.
Maximus informed us that you were eligible for the “Ticket to Work”, and we wanted to let you know about some options we offer.
Are you interested in finding work, or going back to school? Are you receiving SSI or SSDI?
Wants to work
Since you are interested in finding work, to help encourage you, we can give you a $500 grant the first two weeks of employment that you make over $360. We will continue to pay you another $500 once every 3 months when you earn over $720 in each of those months.
You can use that money to help pay for work related expenses like clothing, gas, and other work needs!
You can earn an additional $2000 in grants from us, get help for paying for your work expenses, and not impact your current disability income, or current medical coverage!
Once you sign your Ticket to Work with us, we’ll start helping you get started in your job search.
Can I get your email address?
If you are interested in any of our programs, just go to our website www.passplanhelp.com, and fill out steps one and two electronically.
One you have electronically submitted your paperwork, we will confirm your eligibility for the program and discuss your plans by phone. Then we’ll send you emails full of information to help you with your searches.
Once you are working, all you need to do is send us copies of your pay stubs once each month, and we’ll do the rest. You can focus on determining if you are ready to work your way off of benefits!
How is my SSI or SSDI effected?
SSI is going to be reduced one dollar for every two dollars you earn. A pass plan can help with this.
SSDI depends on if you have worked in the past and how many of your trial work months you have used. You don’t have to report income to SSA. Social Security takes your taxable income that is reported and averages it.
SSDI gets a 9 month trial work period that you can earn any amount with no impact to your SSDI.
Wants to go back to school
Another way we can help you is with the PASS plan. PASS means “Plan to Achieve Self Support.”. The PASS can help you go back to school, get training, or transportation.
Are you married? Is your spouse working?
(If they are married the Pass Plan will most likely not work for them. They will have to put all of their SSDI and half of their spouse’s wages into the pass. They would then have to pay for their living expenses with the remainder of spouses’ wages and a $674 SSI check)
Pass Plan for SSI:
The PASS requires you to get a part time job while you are on the plan.
Here’s how it works. Say you earn $885 of wages for a month. Social Security waves the first $85, and then divides the remaining $800 by 2, establishing $400 in countable earned income.
Normally your SSI check would be reduced by $400, but with the pass plan, we put that $400 to help pay for school expenses. Transportation to and from school, car repairs, maintenance, tuition and books not covered by grants, internet access, a computer, computer supplies, childcare, anything related to going to school.
So let me explain how it's going to work together. (See the Calculation Sheet)
So instead of just getting your SSI check of $674 you could get that check and your wages of $885. So for the first month you could get $1159 in income in this example!
Pass Plan for SSDI
How much are you receiving on SSDI?
(If they earn less than $1,000 a pass plan might work. It’s challenging if it’s more than that.)
You would receive 2 checks which would both go to your bank account. Your current SSDI would be used to pay for your education. Which could be transportation to and from school, car repairs maintenance, tuition and books not covered by a grant, Internet, a computer, computer supplies, childcare.
You would then get an additional SSI check of $674 to cover your living expenses.
PASS plan - Combo SSI and SSDI
You would use you SSDI portion to pay for goal and your SSI would be increased to the full amount (Amount depends on state).
If you are interested in any of our programs, just go to our website www.passplanhelp.com, and fill out both steps one and two electronically.
We are looking forward to helping you reach your goals!

"I never knew all the help that was available for a disabled person until I found Disabled Workers. They have made understanding the rules easy!"
To Whom It May Concern;
I had been on Social Security Disability for seventeen years. Wanting to go back to work, I didn’t know where to begin until I ran across www.passplanhelp.com. I had a great fear of losing my benefits if I did not succeed at working. I also knew it would take having courses at the local vocational school, reliable transportation, and other things to meet my goal of returning to work. I contacted Mr. Stephen Schrader and he led me through the entire process. I am now getting help through the pass plan including all of the things I required so I could return to work. Mr. Schrader answered all of my questions, helped write the application, contacted the Social Security workers, explained what was available, stayed in touch with me, and much more. I couldn’t have gotten this help without him. I urge you to check out the pass plan because it is a wonderful program.
Sincerely,
"Gayle"
Dear Janet, Ron and Steve,
I can't thank you enough for all that you've done on my behalf over these past years. In large part due to your efforts and positive encouragement I now work full time and am also employed part time on call. Considering where I started from, this is a serious benefit to me and to society as a whole.
It's also a testament to the effectiveness of your company and particularly the people who work there.
If anyone is new to your program let them be aware this is the finest and most caring group of people they will ever chance to meet.
Sincerely and with great admiration,
David
